- Description:Featuring, well, mainly Mozart, the Mainly Mozart Festival brings to San Diego the music of the masters (mainly Mozart), played by world-class musicians from some of the nation’s most celebrated orchestras. Now based out of downtown's Balboa Theater, the annual event is staged by Mainly Mozart which was founded in 1988 by Maestro David Atherton and Executive Director Nancy Laturno, with the goal of sharing the finest classical music performed live for the people of Southern California and Baja California.

- Movies in the Park

- Description:Reminiscent of the drive-in theater but more comfortable than sitting in a car, Movies in the Park invites you to bring a blanket and a picnic, and watch a free movie under the stars. All movies begin at dusk. The events also include great giveaways, family games and healthy concessions. Check back for 2009 schedule updates.

- Description:The San Diego Fair is full of rides, games, animals, shopping, food and entertainment. A premiere summer event, the San Diego Fair has something for everyone. The Summer Concert Series on the Grandstand Stage at the San Diego County Fair has been a top attraction for years on end. Nationally known singers, musicians and comedians appear on the Grandstand Stage yearly, and hundreds of other entertainers perform on nine additional stages. Past year performers included: Carrie Underwood, Andy Williams, Deniece Williams, Maroon5, Carrot Top, The Coasters, Foreigner, José Feliciano, Kenny Loggins, Kingston Trio, Lawrence Welk, Salt-N-Pepa Little Richard, Smokey Robinson, Tom Jones and many more.
